Remed is French but spends his time between Lille, Madrid and Sao Paulo. In the last two years Remed has created many works on the streets of Sao Paulo, often in partnership with the artist Fefe and others. His influences include graffiti culture, which he fell into in 1999 and 20th century painters such as Modigliani, Picasso, Matisse, Fernand Lèger and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
His work is a mixture of word play, icons, colours and shapes that form a dialogue between themselves. His personal life, people he meets, events and his environment are all elements he brings into his work. By sharing his own feelings he hopes to spark feelings for the viewer.
